BAGUIO RESIDENTS BEWARE: ARYSTA MARKETING SCAM!!!
I am telling this story because I want everyone to know that devious people exist in our society and they will prey on people regardless of their age because they can. Because our local government allow them to. Because despite the numerous complaints from victims they still operate.
This is my Mother In Law’s story but I want you to know, because who knows, maybe their next victim might be your own mother or mother in law, or aunt or sister or brother or worse, it might be YOU.
My mother in law is a senior citizen, she is an unemployed widow without any pension. Oh, don’t worry, she can manage, my father in law made sure she would be well taken care of before he died, so her financial status is not something she ever had to worry about, even though she did, you know how old people are, always counting their coins.. LOL.. I don’t know if my mother in law counted coins, but I remember my great grandmother counted coins before she went to bed every freakin night.
So anyway, back to the story..
It was April 14th and my mother in law was going about her normal day, B had already left for work and the kids and I were still in Manila. At around 8 or 9 in the morning, she got a call from a certain “Hazel” from ARYSTA Marketing. At first the lady was looking for the person who the telephone number was registered to, I know that it’s a telemarketing plan, I used to be a telemarketer, I know where local call centers get their leads. The phone book, however, because people here rarely update their listings on the phone book, they never assume because some people have their phone numbers still registered to the same person even after their death. So my MIL said that the number was old and that it was still registered to her diseased husband, when she asked what the call was about, this lady started telling her about a “surprise gift” my MIL has just won and then gave her a “control number” as well as directions to their “local” office here in Baguio. I didn’t believe they were actually calling from outside our city, it just wasn’t believable. Of course my MIL was skeptical, after all, how can anyone win something without joining any contests or raffle draws or whatever. She asked the lady why she had won when she hasn’t join any contests or raffle draws and the lady simply said it was because “her” number was the one flashing on her computer screen which meant she was a winner. Yeah, I know, this screamed SCAM loud and clear!
My MIL’s curiosity got the better of her, and so since she was already in town running some errands, she decided to drop by the said office of ARYSTA MARKETING, located at the Porta Vaga Building in Session Road.
When she entered the small, crowded little space of a mock showroom, the doors closed behind her, she was entertained by a gay guy named “Reno”. My MIL asked told Reno about the call she has gotten early in the morning and the supposedly “surprise gift” she has won, Reno asked if that was the only thing the caller told her and asked about a “control number” which my MIL provided. After checking that the “control number” was “valid” (Yeah freakin right?!) more of their staff went out from the small back office and congratulated my MIL for winning an awesome price in the form of a massage chair. So they asked her to try it out, she sat on the massage chair and then the staff, there were 5 of them now all surrounding her, accommodating her, seemingly screaming in her ear with exaggerated excitement. My MIL felt that there was something off but she was too overwhelmed by the screaming and the continued chatter going on around her. She didn’t quite understand what was happening. She just sat in the massage chair while some of the staff talked to her about their other products. She finally got up from the massage chair, but one staff member still kept massaging her back while the others hovered around to ask her some questions. They asked if she was a PLDT subscriber, and she said yes, a burst of screaming, clapping and exaggerated excitement rung through the air from the staff that my MIL felt really uncomfortable, she said she felt weak and that something was pushing against her chest. They were congratulating her yet again as she received another “free gift”. Then someone asked her if she had a credit card, to which she said yes, and then they asked if it was a BDO (Banco De Oro) credit card, and she said no, it was a BPI (Bank of the Philippine Islands) credit card, another round of exaggerated congratulations, screaming and clapping, she won another “free gift” this time from BPI. At this point, my MIL remembers one of the staff asking to see her credit card to supposedly “verify” if it was indeed a valid credit card so she can receive her supposedly “free gift”. They gave it back after a few minutes. They swiped the freakin card without her approval, without her knowing, without her being fully aware of what was happening! Damn those freakin scam artists!!! Damn them to fuckin hell! At this point my MIL told them how uncomfortable she was and told them she was having a hard time breathing, they then gave her some water. They probably drugged her! She drank the water and shortly after, they resumed hovering over her and shoving all these supposedly “free gifts” at her. Somewhere in all the chaos, she was able to utter phrases like, “Am I dreaming?” and “Is this for real?” to which the staff responded with a boisterous round of laughter and exaggerated laughter. My MIL was not at all appeased, she felt more uncomfortable, sort of dizzy but didn’t know exactly what to make of it. So then one staff member asked her to pick an envelope, the envelopes contained more “free gifts”, what a shocker. My MIL chose one, and surprise surprise, she won the highest prize of P2000. The staff let out another round of loud congratulatory screams, laughter and relentless clapping. By this time, my MIL has totally lost it. She was so overwhelmed with the noise that she didn’t quite place what was happening. One of the staff members of ARYSTA MARKETING then explained to her that the value of all the “free gift” she has gotten has reached P107,00++ but because she was a PLDT Subscriber with a BPI credit card, they are going to give her a 50% discount and then because she also opened a P2000 envelope the total amount comes down to P54,900. My MIL couldn’t grasp what was going on as she was still feeling dizzy and more uncomfortable than ever. The staff packed all of her “free gifts” and offered to take her home, but before they did, they asked her to compose a letter, the letter said something like “I, Lucita Fallarme, am allowing the use of my credit card for yadda yadda yadda..”. I don’t know the exact contents of the said letter, but I didn’t have to know, everyone knows you don’t need to write a letter when you use your credit card! This is totally something unheard of!!! Of course you need to sign a receipt but that’s about it and then of course you get to keep a copy of the said receipt. They didn’t give her a copy of the letter they asked her to compose as well as the receipt of the transaction, I don’t know if they did give her a receipt, she didn’t mention it, I’ll ask her in the morning and tell you later. So they finally got a cab, loaded all the stuff, a massage chair, a slimming belt, a utensil pack, a digital stove and a multi cooker, and escorted her home. While in the cab, she supposedly got a call from her bank, congratulating her for using her credit card, totally absurd, banks don’t care whether or not you use your credit card or not, I’ve used mine so may times and I never got a “congratulatory” call, not once! They were supposed to set it up and try it out as soon as they got to our house, but thankfully, there was a power interruption and they weren’t able to set it up. After they have left, my MIL was still feeling uncomfortable and so she decided to take a bath. After her bath, it was like her senses were back to normal and she realized what has happened to her, she quickly dressed and went to the bank and told the bank what had happened, the bank said that the best they can do is block ARYSTA from charging anything on her account but advised her to ask them to cancel the transaction. She also asked the bank if they called her to congratulate her for using her credit card and they said no, they don’t do that. I knew someone from ARYSTA faked that call! So she made a quick stop to the Police’s office to have an escort and then quickly went back to the ARYSTA MARKETING office and demanded that they take all the stuff back and cancel the transaction in her credit card. Way to go, Ma! Of course, they gave her all kinds of excuses and stuff, she demanded they cancel the transaction because she was not herself during that time and she claimed she has been “hypnotized” or something. They reminded her of the letter she made out, to which she said she wasn’t aware of and she pointed out that if she were to use her credit card, she didn’t need to write a letter like that, which was so true.
So anyway, it has been almost 3 weeks and still the transaction have not been canceled. This afternoon, Reno paid us a visit, he came with a shady document in hand. Take a look:
Click the image for a larger, clearer view

I did not let my MIL sign this document, first of all, it was full of grammatical errors. Second, the dates on some of the documents’ parts don’t match. Third, it looks more like a scrap paper than a legal document, you know something you won’t think twice to read before spitting your gum in it and throwing it out. Fourth, it is not a credit memo, which we need to show the bank to be able to have the bank completely cancel the transaction. Fifth we are not asking for a refund, but a cancellation of transaction.
Is that so hard to freakin understand? All we need is a fucking assurance that we will get a FULL CANCELLATION OF TRANSACTION. Can’t you dense people get that simple freakin point? OMG, it’s not rocket science! I spoke to the very rude, very incompetent supposedly “customer service representative” of ARYSTA marketing and he didn’t fucking get what I was saying because they kept on insisting about the things they want. They wanted the stuff back first, the supposedly “free gift” they gave my MIL. WTF?! If it was free, why do you want it back?! So then I spoke to the Supervisor, Shiela, who is more of a fuckin schmuck than that gay guy who claimed to be a customer representative though clearly he doesn’t know how to speak or act or be like a customer service representative at all. And get this, they don’t have a Marketing Department, what the hell kind of establishment are you if you don’t have a freakin marketing department? Obviously ARYSTA MARKETING is a shady company which prey on innocent people. I was so pissed this afternoon, I swear I wanted to rip that gay guy Reno’s head off, but he wasn’t the one to blame, he was just following orders, poor schmuck. I’d really like to get my hands on that gay guy and that Shiela I talked to on the phone, why? That Sheila cussed me! Bitch! She used a local bad word which when roughly translated meant my mom was a whore, and I am not one to take that sitting down.
BTW, Free and gift shouldn’t even be in the same sentence, it’s redundant! Of course a gift is free, otherwise it wouldn’t be a gift at all! DUH!
So anyway, after this guy Reno left, unsuccessful of their plan to make my MIL sign a seemingly shady contract, I searched online for this said ARYSTA MARKETING company, and lo and behold, I come across numerous complaints and warnings about ARYSTA MARKETING on blogs and forums, from people who have been previously scammed by these people. I was not surprised, I’m just angrier. Now I know I need to do whatever I can to have this place shut down before they do this to someone else. So please, spread the word! ARYSTA MARKETING SCAMS PEOPLE!

Actually Jason (if that is what your real name is) I totally DISAGREE with what you say, it happened to me, and what they (those Sales/Agents) are explaining to you are not true! keyword is – “Deception”. But if you read this one “Republic Act No. 7394
The Consumer Act of the Philippines, TITLE III
PROTECTION AGAINST DECEPTIVE, UNFAIR
AND UNCONSCIONABLE SALES ACTS OR PRACTICES” you will know. That’s is what happening on the store!
I don’t know, maybe your one of them.
Read more and Understand it very well Jason before you speak again.

Good Day….
I THINK WHAT ARYSTA MARKETING IS DOING…. IS A MARKETING STRATEGY… SO IT’S UP TO THE CLIENT IF THEY WILL ACCEPPT OR DECLINED THE OFFER BECAUSE I’VE BEEN IN YOUR SITUATION GUYS… LETS NOT BE NARROW MINDED. REMEMBER IF IT IS TO BE…ITS UP TO YOU! SO DO NOT BLAME OTHER PEOPLE BLAME YOURSELF…
Ane said,
August 9, 2010 @ 7:44 am
Carlo,
Misleading people into believing they won free stuff and then charging it into their credit cards is not a very good “marketing strategy” and it is punishable by law. That’s what they did, they misled my Mother In Law into believing she “WON” stuff and then it was charged into her credit card, which by the way they asked for because they told her if she was a credit card holder she’d get more free stuff. My Mother In Law is 60+ years old, very gullible and trusting. If they told her she was supposed to buy the stuff and they weren’t FREE she wouldn’t have purchased anything.
Please understand what you’re reading before you comment. My husband is a branch marketing manager for SM so we do know a lot about Marketing Strategies and what Arysta is doing is NOT a LEGAL marketing strategy.
If you were misled into purchasing stuff I bet you’d react worse.

Oo nga it’s up to us if we will buy them or no but once you will be there and the way they trick peole, how could you not be convinced|? Para silang true. Anyway… Never to be mislead again..
jess said,
December 22, 2010 @ 5:52 pm
actually it is only a marketing strategy…Ive read different cases of marketing strategies…you can never call it a scam, coz in the first place, they gave your product with you, with the complete package..as a consumer, we should always be aware that there is no such thing as free in this world. In every purchase that we made,we always assume that we always pay for the items that we take..like BUY 1 TAKE 1..do you think it’s possible that a businessman investing to make her money grow would just throw his investments for free?? in some instances, we consumers are to blame sometimes..
Ane said,
December 22, 2010 @ 6:38 pm
Yes Jess, that’s true in some cases, we are to be blamed as well, unfortunately this is not one of those incidences. If my Mother In Law was properly informed, she wouldn’t have been in that situation, but the people in Arysta kept insisting that EVERYTHING WAS FREE. You have to remember that old people can be STINGY. If it were me in her place, and someone told me I won something for FREE even though I did not enter an contests or raffles or whatever, I would have just raised an eyebrow and told them to go fuck themselves.
There is also a fine line between legitimate marketing strategy and illegitimate marketing strategies. I know, my husband works as a marketing manager for the biggest mall in Baguio, and what Arysta is doing goes against the ethics of marketing itself.

My mom was a victim of this store in Porta Vaga. yesterday, she was led to believe that she won a massage chair, but since she has of no use for it she was told it could be replaced with other items. What was described in this post is exactly how she was led to shell out some money to pay for items that she does not need. My Mom is 66 years old and an OFW. She paid P28,900.00 for a stove and a multi cooker with other items pending upon paying an additional P26,900.00. She was made to sign a reservation agreement stating that she can terminate the agreement but will not be refund in cash, rather into items equal to the amount paid. I am still trying to see how we can be able to get these scammers return her money. To Anne and all the other relatives and victims of this establishment -Any help on what we need to do to that direction would be appreciated. I guess the Police Station at Session Road would be our first step. Thanks

I was a victim of this Arysta store in Porta Vaga last Saturday, August 14, 2010, with the same scenario. I went back yesterday to surrender the receipt and asked my money back but they said that it is not refundable. I told them i want my money back. They told me to wait a call from their customer service in 7 days…that is absurb. I will call the customer service today and will file a complaint as well.
They were using Depothome and Kris Aquino for their scam.
All victims should gather and have a meeting and file a case to close the store and return the money.

Arysta Marketing called me today to inform me about a certain give-away from them. They asked me to go to their office ASAP. Being a journalist myself, I really have to be cautious so I checked online for their company. Lo and behold! I read so many complaints about their marketing strategy. So I called them earlier, telling them that I din’t want to get involved in their activities. I told them that I’m a journalist myself and that the moment was calling them, I was talking to a police officer, a lawyer and a fellow reporter.
This scamming company is located in CB Mall Balingit, Nankayasan Urdaneta, 2nd floor ARYSTA CLAIMING CENTER, with telephone number 656 2787 (PldT).
Beware of this company. They will be the subject of my news report next tomorrow.

Sir, I was victimized yesterday, September 2, 2010. Please help. Sa Urdaneta CB Mall din po ako nanggaling. They got 8,000 from my debit card and let me sign a reservation agreement that if ever I changed my mind, I won’t get a cash refund but instead a product equivalent to the amount I deposited. Is there any way I can get my 8,000 back? How? Please help. I’m only 22 and it’s very deceiving. Galing nila manloko, I was trying to make a call to ask for help pero they blocked me and like forcing to sign and pay. I really need help. I am from Dagupan City pa, I traveled just to get there on time tapos yun pala ganon mangyayari. Anyone please? Thank you in advance!

OMG im overwhelmed reading all these stuff… i never thought that those are scammers. i went home just this holiday to spend christmas with my parents in Asingan, Pangasinan. I went to CB mall in urdaneta City on Dec 24 to shop around while waiting for my mom then this pregnant lady approached me giving me a “free internet card” i accepted the card and she asked me to go with her in their store to sign the receiving form for that said card… and then the rest was like what happened to most of the other victims in here… I was so overwhelmed by their clapping and yelling etc. they’re asking me to pay for 55900 to get all the free stuff that I apparently won. I told them i dont have all that money and they asked me how much i only have. I told them I have 2k on hand. They ask me to pay them the 2k to reserve the items for me but i cannot take anything from those stuff. when I insisted i want to take home something, they asked me to add 1k so I get take hone atleast the multipurpose cooker. I dunno what had happened and i eventually found myself going to the ATM to withdraw money and gave it to them. with the 3k, i got the cooker. and they had me signed and my mom this waiver stating about the non cash refund… i know there’s something wrong with what’s happening because of all those “free” stuff and yeah the quality of the paper is not like a legal form. it’s just like photocopied or faxed… but for whatever reason, i and my mom believed them… they must know how to hypnotize people huh… if you have plans on pursuing to file a complaint against them, please count me in…

OMG! I was also a victim this june of the ARYSTA in portabaga session road baguio city.. It made my holiday miserable… Yup! they said That I won a 2,000 voucher and that I was entitiled of 7 free gifts if I would buy the one of the products in the shop. Coming to know that I was paying 51k php for the inex pure water filter. I di not know that the cost wasn’t that expensive for the water filter. Anyway.. I was just convinced of their strategy and sales talk. I really regret and I’m telling everyone else not to mind the Arysta. You could find good products like theirs if you shop around with even good price value. This was really a scam. I’ve wasted my money with the 8 products that were not really of essential use. It was a big lesson… How the heck they cheat people with all the excitements and shouting…. Di pala ako nag iisa. When I came back to Europe, a frriend was also telling me that she got a massage chair for her mom for 56k php. Please God! Never to be fooled again.

good day or shall i say shit day guys!!!! obviously, i was or my whole family’s a victim too!!! everything u said is completely the same of what happened to my mom and my youngest brother..this just happened not so long ago..today is wednesday…it happened last friday, last week (sept 10)…my mom got a bullshit call at around 2pm maybe..as said..she won a free gift from the said crap store!! my youngest brother accompanied my mom to their shit store to claim the said won item ( fuckin’ pinhole glasses!!)…the sellers from that shit store congratulated them and offered different products FOR FREE!!!! everytime they said the item is for free..they then let my mom sign in with”i dont know what the fuck was that”!!!!! so at the end..they got all 6 freebies!! well..not really free..coz at the end they said that they have to pay them 180,000 in order to get the fuckin’ freebies..my mom and bro were so shocked dont know what to do…afterwards one said they shouldn’t worry coz they only have to pay 56,000..coz my mom was a globe subscriber and has a BDO card!!…my mom was so worried as well as my bro..coz they got nothing except 20 pesos in their pocket!!..these damn sellers asked if they know someone who could help..my brother said their only hope is me!!.. anyway, i just got back 1st week of sept. from united kingdom..was a student and a carer in an elderly home…
so back to the story..these damn sellers or agents then suggested to bring all the items to our little house..to surprise me!!!!!!!! ( bloody hell!!!!!!!!) and indeed i was really surprised! i thought all those items were really for my mother..for free as expected!!! one agent hold on to me tightly said i was so beautiful, smells good..etc!! (fuck her!! i didn’t even had a shower that freakin’ day!!!) when they reached the house…they started opening every boxes without even explaining what would be the consequences!!! so we, the listener, just listened and tried every products they showed!! ( same products mentioned in your story!!)… after those shits….they then mention that we have to pay the amount 56,000!!!!! fuckin’ hell!!!! i was so shocked!!! i shook my head and said NO!!!! the damn agent said they cant take the products back to their showroom anymore for they already damaged the boxes, install everything..the only way to resolve it is for me to pay them 30,000…just for one bloody item!!! i can get the rest when i pay the balance of 26,000….
because i was so worried of what would happen to my mom..becoz she signed so many papers while they were still in their area ( accdg. to my mom)..and that they won’t go and won’t bring the items back unless i pay them…fuck me i paid the said amount!!!!!!!!!
i already returned the items back and file for a complaint!!!! ARYSTA MRKTG is one of the tenants of parkmall here in mandaue, cebu!! even the management of parkmall is against them..they got endless complaints from customers and even other tenants in parkmall!!..yesterday ( sept. 14) they faced the court with the parkmall management!.. me and mandaue’s biggest federation is filing a complaint against the buggers!!! so please help us guys!! pray for us to win over the fuckin’ ARYSTA!!!
before i forget, their crew got no respect at all too!!! no customer service!!!! let’s kill these burglers!!!! let’s fight for our right guys!!!!
thank u!

Hi everyone,
Count me in. Recently, I was also a victim of this Arysta Marketing located in Abanao Square BC. Fooling and deceiving people are really their expertise. It seems I was brain washed that day when I encountered them and whatever they tell or ask, I easily followed it. I thank God so much because He did not let me to be totally
wrecked by these deceivers. They returned the money that I’ve handed to them with the help of BC policemen- Thanks a lot to all of you! You did a great job! These people think they can just easily twist the brain and deceived people but they should also know that our Almighty God with great might and power is watching all their wicked ways. Time will come and they will reap all the fruits of their evil deeds.
I’m trying to write in detail what happened to me. I’ll be posting it once I finished.

Received a call today at 1:30 pm while watching TV. It was a call from Phil Electronic Association in Makati, in the person of Maricar Tecson, saying that i won in their raffle promo and will be given an appliance as a gift for being a PLDT subscriber. She said that theres no cash and no condition involved as i repeated this to her to be sure.
I also asked if this promo is in cooperation with PLDT but she said that it is not. She gave me my Ref Code and where to redeemed it (ARYSTA) at CB Mall Urdaneta.
I told the news to my half asleep husband as he is taking his afternoon nap that i won. He said that it is a scam. He gave me an idea so i look at the internet for ARYSTA and found out of this scam. Thanks Ane for posting your MIL’s story.

i think di nman ata scam ang arysta… they have only a strategy to sell na di na uunawan nang ibang tao… my tita also buy sa shop nila d2 sa cebu, parkmall… ok nman ang product… medyo may kamahalan nga lng nang price… you pay money then you got product…so di sya scam… cguro ung way nang selling lng cguro… we ask them about it.. kc may kinuha p kaming product sa kanila tru installment… di nman sila nagfforce ng client they giving only special offer… which is di cguro naiintindihan nang iba… instead makipag coordinate sa kanila eh dinadaan p daw sa init nang ulo kaya di na aayos…lahat naman ng company when it comes in sales may mga complaints nman talaga.. hellow… im also in business… anyway… nagdadalawang isip kami kung itutuloy p nmen ung installment… out of budget n kc… but we coordinate with them… they give us options… try nyo then makipag coordinate sa kanila… especially those person involved… im not defending them.. unfair pag side lng naten lageh…nasa business din me… ” customer has the right to complaint but not all the time customer is always right “… feel free to react…. god bless us all….

goood day kaibigan,

Mae, people are not sking of your satisfaction of their product. That is not the issue. We are concerned about the way they deceive people and make a fool out of them. If it works well for you then well and good. But you might want to be more concerned about other people’s wellfare too. Thanks

Mae, it’s good that you like their products and were properly informed. My mother in law was not informed. She was deceived and that is the issue. So, are you aware that their strategy is to trick people into believing they “won” something and that they didn’t have to pay for anything. Read and understand before you comment. At nakakaintindi naman kami ng tagalog kaya wag mo na pahirapan ung sarili mo mag english.

First of all I want to say how saddened I am to learn how many of you innocent people here in the Philippines have suffered at the ruthless hands of these tricksters, scammers, con merchants (these are just polite terms I use on this public forum). Arysta Marketing seem to run along exactly the same lines as Hoffman (Gaisano Mactan, Cebu) and also Aowa Electronics in various locations.
I worked dealing with Fraud for 12 years in the UK and have seen various scams like this even when I was 16 years old in London, but this lot of shysters really take the p***. (excuse my ***’s)
Hoffman of Gaisano, Mactan tried the same scam on me a few weeks ago but I never buy any items without checking internet reviews first (just google name of company followed by the word scam) I never went back to their imitation store and they cannot even spell “hoffman” It should be “Hauffman”, Goods are not made in Germany as claimed, try China or at best Malaysia.
Today I went walking through Parkmall, Cebu with my friend and the gwapa girls looking oh so mmm mmm outside the store dragged my friend in and started demonstrating their items to him and myself…. Well a free massage is always welcome as far as I am concerned and had a good laugh with the girls too. I then introduced myself as an official of the DTI in the UK and asked them if they were associated with AOWA or HOFFMAN, the mood changed and we left the store laughing our heads off. I did feel sort of sorry for some of the junior staff their having to tell lies all week after going to Church on Sundays, and one pleasant girl said ” I guess we won’t see you again?” I replied “What do you think?”.
I really do hope all of you get refunds of your hard earned money coz it is hard to come by in any country, let alone the Philippines. Best of luck yo you all and please contact the DTI of Philippines to shut these Scammers down, also pass the word amongst all your friends and relatives so Arysta cannot trick anyone else…
Thanks

“”DON’T TALK TO STRANGERS”" !!! This is the very same thing that we tell our small children and now , it has to be said to all our loved ones. Another way they do their SCAM is they have reps in malls, asking people to fill up raffle coupons coz they have a promo. This coupons have info on residence/bus .address, phone numbers,
occupation etc….. Then they call you and say u have won a trip to US or Europe.
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS FREE in this world. Meron laging kapalit. Be warned because they also text you about being a Winner of a brand new car etc etc. They come in different form, size and shape. Basic thing is all of these things like the car etc, cannot be had for free. Let us just work hard to get all this things using our sweat.

Hello guys, thank you for your Comments. Just yesterday, we receieved a call from Phillippine Electronic Association in the person of Ms. Jane Castro. She called and asked if we were a Residential or Company owned, I told them it is as Residential but under DSWD, she insisted to talk to the incharged who happened to be our Regional Director, i told them she was on travel so the she asked to talked to the next is rank. Again i told her she was out on Official Business, she asked anybody could talk to her so I volunteed myself, she asked my age and I told her I am 24, she refused to talk to me asked somebody who is 28 year old and above, I suggested a Houseparent, I gave her the details and she told me We won a prize through an electronic raffle made by Philippine Electronic Association. She gave us a Control number and told us to claim our prize at ARYSTA in Abanao Sq. any time. I asked the company number and she gave a 424-1754 number.
I told my co-workers at the office and they gave the impression that this is a SCAM, so I immediatelly browsed the internet to check on this. I read on this blogs and OMG! What we thought is TRUE!!!!
Although we have plans in going to the store and verify the gift they told us to claim, we promised to ourselves that we will not be hypnotized by this SCAM.
Thank you bloggers for sharing your experiences on this matter.

Leonor,
Don’t even waste your gasoline or jeepney ride to go to Arysta’s store, the gift they eventually give you is only small and fit for the trash can.
Better using your energy to tell all your friends, co-workers etc not to get scammed by these Muppets…
Leonor said,

Thanks Arhur, actually we have no time to go. We are busy these days. Just an hour ago, she called again, she told that today is the last day of claiming the prize. I know this is a fallacy, DTI is giving 60 days to claim whatever prize maybe in a raffle draw.
These muppets must not be intertained.

It’s good I don’t have credit cards. But the sad thing is I already handed them a sort of down payment amounting to 7,000. I’m so stupid! I was really having strong doubts that time. I really know all their jumpings, excitements, Makati transactions, etc. were all practiced and made up.. But I wonder what made me pay them that amount? Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! They’ll be better prepared tomorrow! It’s true that that’s sales strategy. But IT CANNOT ALSO BE RIGHT when they LIED to me when they said that out of thousands of promo coupons, I was the only one who got that 2,000 gift certificate with 6 free items as long as you pay 1 item which is amounting to 51,000. Hindi sila taga Mindanao, halu-halo silang klase. May taga Baguio, Pangasinan, Tarlac, etc. May isa pang pangalan ang marketing na iyan. Hilton Marketing or iHome Marketing. Madlas sila magkaroon ng seminar sa Manila. Marami rin branches sa Cebu. My mother was a victim, by the way. Madalas na biktima nila ay Senior Citizens. The marketing strategy that they claim is not marketing at all. Pinipilit nilang bumili ang biktima with so much false claim of large amounts of prize winnings! Pamilyado naman sila, di kaya nila naisip na panloloko ang pinapakain sa mga anak nila? Gusto nilang umasenso through deceit.

HERE’S A WAY TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK:
1st- go directly to the customer service (manager) and report that you have been scammed by (******), (make sure have you have copies from the internet about the scam they are doing). (do not go directly to ******* to claim your money back). Tell him that you learned from the internet that you have been scammed and tell him that you are seeking advice on what to do because you have been scammed by his tenant. Tell him that you want your money back. Ask him if he knew about this.
Let them do the fixing. Remember you are the customer. Customer is always right- THAT’S FACT.
2nd- (Do not demand charges directly to ****** as it will take a long process to wait). Believe me the owner is not there, he is somewhere around and anonymous. (the queen ant will not scatter around her colony), instead file charges directly to only one person (the one who brought you there). Seek your lawyer as he knows better about this matter. When he gets the demand letter he will definitely clear himself and seek help to his boss to fix it as it is so shameful on his part already. You can not catch the boss he is out when the crime was being played. Pin the accomplice. YOU ARE HIS CUSTOMER!

I am saddened to keep seeing more and more posts regarding innocent people getting scammed by these low-down fraudsters.
Ok I am not from the Philippines and back in UK we also get scammers taking money from people, but we do have a couple of television programs which get regular slots.
These TV programs identify and publicly shame these scammers putting many of them out of business. How hard would it be for any of you to contact someone at a Filipino Television Station and ask them to give some airtime warning all your fellow citizens about the scammers such as ARYSTA MARKETING, HOFFMAN and AOWA ELECTRONICS who steal almost 60,000 pesos off you and give you a few tacky pieces of Chinese Trash electronics.
The Brand names are not even genuine on these items, what you are getting is faulty cheap quality items that have almost certainly been returned by other customers and ARYSTA and the other companies buy them up in bulk at a real cheap price and take you for 60,000 pesos of your hard-earned money.
Surely some one of you may know of a friend working in a Television station/channel or if not just contact the TV Channel directly and get them to help stop you all getting defrauded.
I would be interested to know if any of you got your money back, if it happened to me and they successfully got any money from my wallet or credit card I would deal with it myself and wreck all their stock in the store.
They tried to scam me me at Hoffman and Arysta Marketing but I just played them along and wasted their time and effort.

my mum was so excited telling us of the things she won with “Hilton Marketing” in Davao. The story is almost the same. But she only left a thousand pesos and told them she will consult her children first… I searched all the price on the net and it was really huge. THey did not return the 1K, but instead let us add 1k to get the electric cooking stove…. Curse these people… I pity those victims. Spread this…….

you people really don’t understand do you. these people are not trying to cheat or hypnotized people as a lot of us thought. i am telling this for i have became their client and experience it for myself. these people are doing a fair selling,it’s just that they are using a different way or shall i say strategy “deep marketing strategy” to sell their goods. they are doing voucher sales which is very common in all markets anywhere and everywhere with some in-house promotions. these types of strategies are also approved by our government for it does not cause any illegal actions. and their is no such thing as hypnotism in this modern world. you drive your own-self and their is no damned way that someone could tell you what to do. if you want to buy something or not, it is all up to you. and guys, i am also a credit card user, some banks call their client after they used their credit cards. it is 1 way to prevent other people to use fraud cards.

@chaze tama ka hindi nila kasi naiintindihan ang ginagawa ng isang marketing..strategy lang kasi ang way of selling nila, hindi naman sila restaurant or department store na kung saan ang customer mismo ang lalapit sa kanila na kung saan alam na natin na customer na talaga sila..compare to arysta marketing sila mismo ang hahanap ng customer para i-invite nila sa showroom nila, wala kaya silang basic sallary commission bases sila, hindi naman lahat ng customer ay bumili sa kanila kasi pag wala silang benta wala silang salary..dapat intindihin natin sila.kasi i know some of their staff ay hindi taga dyan mismo taga ibang lugar pa yan dumadayo lang para mag trabaho, wala silang choice to grab it..sana lahat tayo dito huwag naman natin sisihin ang mga marketing staff nila ginagawa lang nila kung sa saan sa tingin nila ay doon sila kikita.may mga pamilya din sila kung ipapasara natin store nila kawawa naman yung mga inocent marketing, mahirap kaya maghanap ng work ngayon.yung iba sa kanila is from province.

yeah, i got a call from them too an hour ago.The girl(caller) told that she’s from PPEA, P- philippines electronic association something. she said they’ve done this phone numbers raffle for both pldt and globe subscribers because they want extend their gratitude for our continually patronizing the telecommunication company (which globe i supposed since i’m a globe subscriber) –really?–. she told then that my phone number is one of those lucky phone number that won the raffle and then she gave me a reference number, which she said that i just need to present that ref number with my 2 valid IDs to the ARYSTA marketing at PARK MALL CEBU, grd flr beside lbc and that i should look for LEO LIAMA-(i’m not sure the last name but it sounds like that). she asked me how OLD i am and what valid ID’s do i have. i told her that i am 23 years old. and to my surprise, she told that i am not qualified to claim the prize because i’m too YOUNG –whattttt?-. so, i ask her if my big sister can claim the prize since she’s 38 years old. she said my big sister can claim the prize and she asked me if my sister has 2 valid ID’s. i told her that “for sure, she does”. i doubted her and those things that she told me. i asked for her name and if she’s from cebu or manila because her tagalog sucks. she said “cristy dingson”(i’m not sure with the spelling), and she’s from manila and that they just drop by here because of that raffle. i don’t really trust the call so first i called the globe since i’m a globe subScriber to clarify if they supported a certain raffle to that PPEA, the globeCSR told me that there was no PPEA that asked to there support/permission for that certain raffle -hhhmmm-. 2nd i tried searching for PPEA and found nothing, because of that i tried searching the ARYSTA MARKETING, where the girl(caller) told me to claim the prize that i won and i was relief to see lot of postings about them–damn i’m right!–.
OBVIOUSLY THEY ARE SCAM..!!

No there will not be any refunds from SCAM artists. Scam artists the World over do not refund money so no difference here.
Best you people can do is for each and every one of you to contact your DTI and make them get off their lazy arses and shut the SCAMMERS down, put them OUT OF BUSINESS.
Even if you went mob-handed into their stores and try to take goods to the real value of what you have paid out, you would not really be successful because they just rip you off with CHINESE TRASH and there is not much value to that rubbish.
Best just to forget your money you lost and concentrate on getting ARYSTA and HOFFMAN etc put out of business by pressurising DTI Philippines to do what they are paid for and protect Philippine consumers

The evening of June 2, 2011, I got a call from a woman saying that I was among the 50 people in Cebu who was luckily picked out to get an item as the Philippine Electronics Association (PEA) was celebrating their anniversary that day. She said they are giving away electronic items as a way of saying THANK YOU to PLDT and Globe subscribers. I asked questions at once because I had an inkling that it was a scam. I asked for her name to make sure. She said her name is Lorraine Galvez and I should go to Parkmall to claim the item and see D. Gatchalian at the ARYSTA branch. She gave me a reference code because according to her the item would depend on that code. She then instructed me to contact Arysta at Tel# 346-5691 to know the details. I called up immediately and was told that I was given only up to June 3, 2011 to get the item and their store is open from 10:30am up to 8:30pm.
When I got there at Parkmall at about 5:00pm the next day, as I was approaching ARYSTA, you can see some of their staff standing near the door as if waiting for people to come in and there was no customer inside. I said to myself this is really a scam because they acted like agents from Family First, Inc. who pester you inside SM Malls whether in Cebu or in Metro Manila branches! When I got there, they asked me to sit on their massage chair and sample its soothing effects. They asked for identification cards so I showed them my passport and SSS I.D. While seated, they kept on introducing other items like the foot massager, water filtration system, home theater system, multi cooker, Solingen cookware set, etc. They were at least 5 of them huddled near me and one effeminate guy (who said he comes from Buenavista, Bohol) said I should participate in their survey as to which among their items would be most useful. One of the guys squatted near me to operate another massaging tool just near my chest and stomach, kept pressing my hands, and I felt violated with all his actions. I gave them the reference code and asked for the item that was supposed to be a token. Someone went inside a room inside their shop and came back, showed me a piece of paper with a list of items on it and pointed out to me that based on the list I will be bringing home a digital thermometer and a clear glass (when using computers). They handed over to me the items which are very very cheap Chinese junk and said that if I was luckier I could have won a home theater system I just told them I want brochures so I can encourage friends about the items. Then, they said they do not have brochures and then they started saying that I would earn points if I show them proof that I have a SMART cellphone biling, Skycable billing, a PLDT billing statement and proofs that I have accounts with selected banks as these companies are there sponsors. I said I have all these but I did not bring proof.
I even told them how much I got in all the bank accounts which is only about a P100,000 and that I have a pending Citibank payment also of about a P100,000 for a computer. Then they kept asking personal details as to where I live and whether I am related to a foreigner or is my husband a foreigner. I never told them that I was related to one and just said that I am living with my sister in a condominium. Then one lady came out from a room inside their shop and brought out at least 15 sealed envelopes. Inside the envelop that I got was a gift certificate worth P2,000. Before I could even read the details of that certificate, all the rest of their staff came near me, shook my hands to congratulate me. You feel that everything is scripted because all of them were talking in high pitched voices saying I won something. I just sat there looking at them and told them I do not believe all this. They said it was the first time that somebody won P2,000. They showed me another certificate showing somebody won P500. Then, I was asked to put my name in that certificate. One of them got the certificate and went inside the room. This time, the manager or probably the head of that branch approached me asking if I have read what was written at the back of the certificate. It was explained that I won a massage chair and another one of the expensive items. The massage chair alone was worth a P100,000 plus and the other item around P50,000 to P70,000 plus. One of them approached me bringing a cellphone and told me that their boss at the head office wanted to talk to me. I was told that their company in Japan will shoulder for the cost of the 2 big items that I won and she needs to talk to the agent entertaining me to give some more instructions. Later, they added that I can get all the other times at a big discount minus the P2,000 gift certificate and it was only valid up to June 3, 2011 only. Then, another person came out from the room showing a fax message in bold letters saying that I am entitled to another P20,000 discount. Total price of all the items less P20,00, less the P2,000 gift certificate, I only need to pay around P59,000 plus! They kept shouting and shouting and talking in high pitched voices because I was the big winner in Cebu and I would become their product endorser to appear at Realty TV commercial on the ANC channel. They even said that I should treat them to a sumptuous dinner that night because I won big. Still, I did not bite into all their gimmicks. Something inside me told me not to believe all these! I told them that I do not want to appear on TV. They said I look very young, that I have Spanish blood because I got nice skin and something like I won because I share my blessings with people in need! I said I find their products useful but I do not have the money to pay for it. I did not bring any credit card. Then the guy who was squatting beside me said they will deliver all the items he will go with me to my place and use my credit card to pay for the P59,000 worth of items. Despite some more convincing, I told them straight that I do not have money to pay for the items so I hurriedly left. As I walked out of the door, one of the staff near the door even asked for money to buy a drink. He said he was thirsty talking all day! I just laughed deep inside me and said I was in a hurry!
What a scam! Whoever came up with this strategy!

Previous poster Di na naloko …..
You have taken your time too to describe so well what happens at Arysta in Park Mall and so many other Arysta, Hilton marketing and Hoffman (they are in Gaisano, Mactan)
I worked out these scammers at Arysta Park Mall immediately like yourself but just went along for the ride because I wanted to teach them a lesson not to scam anyone, not even a foreigner. I did have a good laugh at them to their faces even with all their bola-bola about the calls on their cellphone from their “boss at their head office” who actually sits in another room just about 6 meters away from where you sat in the massage chair.
At the end of your comment you asked “What a scam, who came up with this strategy?” I don’t know how long you consumers have suffered this in the Philippines but when I started work in London, UK at 16 years old in 1974, there was a very similar store selling fake electronic goods and kitchenware too. Even at 16 I wasn’t scammed because I had a hard upbringing, I was taught not to trust anyone selling anything on the cheap because in this world “you do not get something for nothing”.
Same goes for tipsters telling you how wonderful their stocks are, as a Foreign investor I have experienced that here also with 3 different scam companies trying to get me to invest in companies here (uranium mining etc) but they think I am a dumb ass foreigner with wala brain cells. Maybe they are the dumb asses who think that this hasn’t been tried in the UK before also.
I wish I could help you out but your approach here has to be through the DTI and get them shut down. Trouble is they may still start up business again under a different name as soon as they get new premises to open a scam store from.
All their cheering, screaming, touching etc is all BS just to get a sale as I bet your bottom dollar that they work on commission-only basis, thats why the guy asked you for some money for a drink.
Actually it is some time since I last went to Arysta Parkmall and Hoffman at Gaisano Mactan, I fancy doing another trip their and will print out a copy of this blog and its posts to show them after I have another hour or so sitting in their “Chinese massage chair”, by the way don’t buy any chinese massage chairs or chinese Solingen cutlery, it is not real… just a FAKE.
I will keep you posted on next visit, regards, Arthur

I experienced the same thing with this scammers. my advice is report to the nearest police station, give them a police report statement, get a lawyer and proceeds to the NBI for a formal report. and by the way they change their company name to (I HOME ENTERPRISE) they have the same procedure how to scam people. I hate that store.

I HOME ENTERPRISE AT PORTAVAGA MALL IS JUST ONE OF THEME. PAREHO ANG KANILANG PRESENTATION HOW TO ENCOURAGE COSTUMER TO BUY THEIR PRODUCTS. THEY GIVE YOU A MASSAGE, ASK YOU SOME PERSONAL QUESTIONS, GIVE YOU A LOTS OF NICE COMPLIMENTS. FREE GIFTS AND ALL THE GOOD STUFFS. LOUD MUSIC IS ALSO IN FULL BLAST JUST TO DISTRACT YOU . YOUR RECEIPT SAYS 7 DAYS MONEY BACK GUARANTEE IT NOT TRUE. ONCE YOU OPEN THE BOX YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR IT. I REPORTED THEM TO THE POLICE , I CONSULTED TO A LAWYER, AND I WENT TO THE NBI TO HAVE THEM HELP ME INVESTIGATE THEIR BUSINESS PROCEDURE. THEY SUMMONED THEM AND I GOT MY MONEY BACK. IT TOOK ME ABOUT 1 WEEK TO PROCESS TILL WE SOLVE THE PROBLEM. REMEMBER I HOME ENTERPRISE!

yes i-home is the name they are using right now and they are located at the third floor of PORTA VAGA, my wife was nearly a victim of their sweet talking sales person, same modus operandi a call telling their from PLDT and that there is a free gift. Im an OFW working abroad, so my wife text me that she will go to PORTA VAGA to claim her price, Due to time difference i was still asleep when the sms went through, i read her sms when i wake up (my aunt was a victim before and i vividly remember her storey). Thats when i realized she was walking into a scam.I tried and tried to call her but no avail(my wife later told me they are distracting her so as not to answer my call) then finally she replied that we need 59k cash since she bargained well. I told her to answer my call. thats when she realized she was being duped in shelling out money for a product that we dont need. i told her to get out of that place and make excuses. Im going home this June and maybe its nice to pay this bastards a visit and kick some ass..this people are not only leeching your hard earned money, but its also creating animosity between husbands and wives, between family members…they must be stopped….

chaze……..
i’m not into marketing nor a business graduate fellow, but i made a thorough research on how arysta operate and i think it might surprise you or will perhaps change your mind on your stand on arysta……i made a thorough research on arysta and consulted some friends in the marketing and legal side of the business.
let me give you some “thinkers” about arystas’ marketing strategy if you really found their “way of marketing” as legitimate….
First and foremost……their vouchers do not bear DTI permit number, if you have one….coz i was able to get a sample of their voucher or gift certificate if u want to call it and presented it to a DTI official….they say its not “REGISTERED” to DTI. if its is legal then all their fliers should bear “per DTI NCR permit no…..series of” because as per policy a voucher should have a prescriptive period of promotion…..IT IS NOT A LIFETIME PROMO! got that!
Second, they dont have a LEGITIMATE marketing Department or Unit? have you thought of that? their shop is not permitted to “SELL” when you say SELL there is a product transaction, their permit is only for “PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES or ADVERTISING PURPOSES”.
Third, they dont issue you an “OFFICIAL RECEIPT” what they are giving to you is only a TRANSACTION SLIP or SALES INVOICE…….as long as there is no issuance of OFFICIAL RECEIPT….. NO OFFICIAL TRANSACTION HAS BEEN MADE. (ask the BIR people to give you lecture on that!)
Fourth, consult the DTI – CONSUMER WELFARE DEPARTMENT……. if the transaction made is not clear to you and the and made you to purchase with no enough time to make your own decision……..the transaction is FRAUDULENT! CHECK THE CONSUMER ACT OF THE PHILIPPINES!
Lastly, THEY HAVE PENDING CASES AT DTI – BAGUIO on which their BUSINESS LICENSE WERE REVOKED because they DONT HAVE A LEGAL COUNSELOR……I GOT ALL THE EVIDENCE!
GOT IT? I DO HOPE SO……….ARNEL

MARK……
Just do what ANNIE TAMAYO had advised you to do…….i’ve also done it myself! but that would be quite tedious and tiring, but it would relieve you of thousand of pesos…if you got what i mean! right now i’m concentrating on being an asset to NBI, BIR and DTI to these “SCUMBAGS” who deliberately deceives innocent consumers as a form of living……
MY ADVICE:
1 – FILE A FORMAL COMPLAINT ON THE BUILDING ADMINISTRATOR OR HEAD OF LEASE OF THAT ESTABLISHMENT AGAINST THE SCAMMER (IF ITS A MALL).
2 – KEEP A RECORD OF EVIDENCES (VOUCHERS / INVOICES / ALIASES OF SCAMMERS (THEY WONT GIVE YOU THEIR REAL NAMES – 80% OF THEM MGA BAKLA!!!!!)
3 – NEVER OPEN OR USE THE PRODUCT……UNLESS YOU GET YOUR MONEY BACK
4 – GO TO A NEARBY POLICE STATION AND REPORT THE CASE, IT IS CONSIDERED A CRIME, THE CLASSIFICATION IS “MARKETING SCAM OR ESTAFA”
5 – FILE A CASE AT NBI, THEY WILL REFER YOUR CASE TO CONSUMER FRAUD DIVISION, WAIT FOR THE NBI TO GIVE A SUMMON / NOTICE OF COMPLAINT.
6 – GET THE LANDLINE NUMBER OF SCAMMER AND DEMAND A DEADLINE OF PAYMENT RETURN TO YOU EITHER VIA MANAGERS CHEQUE OR ACCOUNT REVERSAL (IF CREDIT CARD IS USED), IF THEY REFUSED…..TELL THEM THAT YOU WILL ELEVATE THE CASE TO DEPARTMENT OF TRADE AND INDUSTRY TO FILE FOR ESTAFA.
TIPS:
> E-MAIL ME OR TEXT ME IF THEY REFUSED TO REFUND YOUR MONEY……

Hi Ane! Hindi sila closed. I’ve checked them out. May mga araw lang na hindi sila nakabukas, siguro lumilipat sila sa Abanao Square Branch. Pero araw-araw ang operation nila dahil kailangan nilang mag-quota. Marami rin sila sa Manila, especially sa Harrison Plaza and also in Cebu.
Masyado silang magaling manloko.

Almost 60k din ang nalagas sa akin worth of useless substandard items na i thought were good. Napabili ako kasi mejo nagmamadali ako nun.
They are very good in deception but I’m very good in revenge.
So what’s the best alternative?… one thing…
actually i already made my own surveillance with their employees/staffs lalo na ang bading na yun.
Nakuha ko na rin ang facebook ng dalawang empleyado.

We just came from Balingit Mall in Urdaneta this pm because my brother in law who is an OFW was victimized by this scumbags! It was a good thing he and his wife told us immediately about it so me and my husband went to the mall with them to get the money which amounted to P57,900. We got the money back but I WILL MAKE A FORMAL COMPLAINT TO DTI HERE IN URDANETA. I ALSO PLAN TO ELEVATE THIS TO DTI CENTRAL OFFICE. I WILL NOT STOP UNTIL I SEE THESE PEOPLE OUT OF BUSINESS! Lucky for us who were able to get their money back but I pity those victims who do not have any idea on how to get back at these merciless people who victimizes most of the time – vulnerable ones like senior citizens or OFWs. I CALL ON EVERYONE WHO HAD BEEN, AT SOME POINT, VICTIMIZED BY THESE ARYSTA MARKETING to support whatever action is needed PARA MAWALA NA TONG MGA HINAYUPAK NA TO!!!!!!!!!! TAMA NA….SOBRA NA…..HATULAN NA!!!!!!!

Shane, perhaps all the scammed customers need to get together, find out who is responsible for Arysta, iHome and Hilton. Then find where they live and proceed to give them one hell of a good beating. That is the only way the scammers will learn.
This is directed at the owners and senior managers , not the regular staff

Prof. Lindon said,

In my opinion… Filipino consumers lack of maturity in dealing with their shopping habits. Filipino consumers tend to buy or shop on items they thought they wanted not on those they really needed. By the time, they purchased and realized the price they will then change their mind and complain that they have been short changed and blame everyone else except themselves of their indiscretion. Then they would rally for sympathy by blogging their complaint without analyzing the fact that they have a bad habit of buying products.
Professor Lindon
William Collins said,
September 11, 2011 @ 1:19 pm
Along with what Prof Lindon says in above post, I was also surprised how many consumers are falling for this Scam operated by quite a few companies in Philippines over such a long time now.
The reason why I am so surprised is that the Filipino citizens should be used to the amount of scamming that goes on every single day here in all walks of life, from government officials, attorneys, police and even down to even some family members.
I think the key words here are “bargain” as Prof says buying items they thought they wanted, and also “gullible” by being easily tricked into splashing the cash for a load of inferior junk by their own local fellow citizens. The few posters on this blog who wrote about their experiences are probably no more than 1% of the real total of scammed purchasers.
If anybody offers me a “bargain” or a “great business” or some “multi-level marketing” bullshit while I am here, then I think GUILTY TILL PROVEN INNOCENT.
The scammers will take money from you from the time you earn your first salary till the day you die, and believe me there there are far more scammers here than you could ever imagine.
Bottom line of this is that you Filipino consumers have to wise up and turn tables on these imbeciles.

Hello! I was also victimized by them just last Saturday. I was really embarrassed with my husband after we looked at his account. I thought Arysta will just take out 3plus from his account since our agreement is a 12 months installment. Then when i tried the product that i had purchased it didn’t work. Now I am trying to get their attention to cancel the transaction because they fooled me. If it wasn’t for my husband I would not purchased the product. I called the office and told them that their product is not working and cancel the transaction, too!

I ask the name kung cnong supervisor at magfafile ako ng complain with regards to the attitude nga nung supervisor.

WE EXPERIENCED THE SAME THING, SAME MARKETING STRATEGY (EXAGGERATED SHOUTING, CLAPPING STUFF, EXCESSIVE TOUCHING, NONSTOP PRIZES)
WE LEFT 5 THOUSAND AS A RESERVATION AND WERE GIVEN 60 DAYS TO CLAIM OUR “FREE” ITEMS, WE READ THIS BLOG AFTER THAT DAY, WE WERE SCARED AS WELL BUT THINKING THAT WE WON’T ALLOW THEM TO FOOL US, WE WENT TO THEIR STORE (I-HOME @ HARRIZON PLAZA) WITH COLD CASH. UPON SEEING US, ALL OF THE SALES AGENTS WERE SHOCKED AS IF THEY NEVER EXPECTED US TO RETURN THAT EARLY! THEY’RE FACES TURNED PALE, EVEN THEIR HANDS WERE SWEATY AND COLD WHEN THEY TRIED TO TOUCH US. ANYWAY, THEY IMMEDIATELY ASKED US IF WE’LL PAY THRU CREDIT CARD, AND THEY’RE WIDE STRICKEN FACES WERE EPIC THE MOMENT WE TOLD THEM THAT WE WILL PAY IN CASH. THEY PANICKED WHEN WE ASKED THEM IF ALL THOSE ITEMS WERE AVAILABLE AND WORKING PERFECTLY! LUCKILY THERE’S ANOTHER PROSPECT CUSTOMER PRESENT SO I THINK THAT’S ONE OF THE REASONS WHY THEY GAVE ALL THE ITEMS IMMEDIATELY. MY MOM EVEN TOLD THEM ABOUT THIS BLOG AND ALL OF THEM PRETENDED NOT TO HEAR ANYTHING (THICK FACES!)
WHEN WE’RE ABOUT TO GO, THEY KEPT ON DELAYING OUR OFFICIAL RECEIPT, MY MOTHER WHO’S QUICK-WITTED KNEW THAT WITHOUT IT GUARDS WON’T ALLOW TO LEAVE THE PREMISE. TO SET YOUR EXPECTATIONS, HARRIZON PLAZA DOESN’T HAVE ELEVATORS, THEIR ESCALATORS ARE NOT WORKING SO WE DON’T HAVE A CHOICE BUT TO ACCOMPANY AND HELP ONE OF THEIR AGENTS, MY MOTHER WAS LEFT ALONE IN THE STORE WAITING FOR THE RECEIPT. ONE OF THE SALES STAFF, WHO I GUESS IS THE SUPERVISOR OF THE STORE KEPT ON DRAGGING HER TO OTHER DIRECTION, TELLING HER THAT SHE’S JUST GONNA SHOW SOMETHING TO MY MOM, LIKE THEIR OTHER SHOWROOM OR WHATEVER. GOOD THING, MY MOM DIDN’T LET HER AND QUICKLY FOLLOW US (or should i say ALMOST RUNNING to us). OUTSIDE, THEY WERE FORCING US TO TAKE THEIR DESIGNATED CAB/VAN, THEN AGAIN WE REFUSED AND GET OUR OWN CAB. WE ARE SO PARANOID THAT WE EVEN SUSPECTED THOSE TAXI DRIVERS AND BLUNTLY ASKED THEM IF THEY KNOW THOSE 2. AFTER ARRIVING, WE TALKED TO OUR BRGY CAPT. TO REPORT THIS JUST IN CASE SINCE WE DON’T REALLY KNOW WHAT THEY’RE THINKING.
THIS IS JUST A MERE WARNING! IF YOU STILL WANT TO PURCHASE THE PRODUCTS DON’T USE CREDIT CARDS. DON’T LET THEM CONTROL YOU!

i also got a call just a few minutes ago, from a certain PIA RIVERA of the PHILIPPINE MONITORING COMPANY, saying I had won an “ehappycard” – an entertainment card which will enable you to play games and watch thousands of movies on tv. She gave me a control number and asked me to claim the card at ARYSTA MARKETING at the second floor of Harrison Plaza.
It was obvious this Pia Rivera sounded like a real scammer. She talked like I was a moron. Paulit ulit at ang bagal magsalilta. First thing I did was to search the internet for Arysta to confirm my suspicion, and I came upon this site.
We frequent Harrison Plaza and has always been pissed off at those people who pretend to be giving away ballpens, umbrellas, etc just to lure you to their showroom. They can be very offensive, to say the least. Halos sa mukha mo na inaabot yung mga items. Ang babastos talaga!
When you go to Harrison Plaza, just be careful with these people. They are all over the place!
